Well, I took the exam on April 21st. I think I did ok, but I'll have to wait until I get the results in mid June.
As for the car, I replaced the IAC valve with a new one two weekends ago, and it has seemed to help my idle issues.
Here are some pictures of the swap.
I did find that I'm getting oil oozing out at the throttle body gasket and at the gasket where the 90 degree bend mates with the turbo. I believe it's coming from the PCV system. I'm in the process of researching catch cans, and the other various parts to get the AWIC installed with a new turbo.
I'll update this when I know more.
